Seafood Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked small pasta (macaroni or shell pasta)
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup crab meat or imitation crab (chopped)
  • 1 cup cucumber (sliced or diced)
  • ½ cup celery (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup red onion (finely chopped, optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley (chopped)

Dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder or paprika

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Cook according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool completely.
  2. Prepare the seafood and veggies
    Chop shrimp, crab meat, cucumber, celery, and onion.
  3. Make the dressing
    In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine everything
    In a large bowl, add pasta, seafood, vegetables, and herbs. Pour dressing over and mix gently.
  5. Chill
    Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to let flavors blend.
  6. Serve
    Garnish with fresh dill and a little black pepper.

🍽️ Tips

  • Add avocado or grapes for extra flavor.
  • For a lighter version, replace half the mayo with Greek yogurt.
  • Best served cold.
