Morning Herbal Wellness Drink

Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon grated fresh turmeric (or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder)
1 small cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder)
4–5 fresh leaves (such as bay leaves or similar aromatic leaves shown)
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
A few drops of lemon juice (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Pour 1 cup of water into a small pot and bring it to a boil.
Add the grated turmeric and cinnamon stick.
Add the leaves and let everything simmer for 5–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain the drink into a cup.
Let it cool slightly, then add honey and lemon if desired.
Drink warm, preferably in the morning.
