- 4 large bell peppers, tops removed and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Β½ tsp paprika
- Β½ tsp salt
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Place the bell peppers upright in a baking dish and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic for 2β3 minutes, then add the ground beef. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 3β4 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Fill each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture. Top with shredded cheese, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10β15 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted. π«π§
