🧀 Don’t buy cheese anymore! Just milk and vinegar, and the result is amazing

You won’t believe how easy (and delicious!) this homemade cheese is. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make fresh, creamy cheese right in your kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 liters milk (6â…“ cups)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (30 ml)
  • 50 g melted butter (¼ cup)

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into a pot and heat it over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar and stir gently. The milk will begin to curdle immediately.
  3. Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the curds using a cheesecloth or fine sieve, pressing gently to remove excess liquid.
  5. Add salt and melted butter to the warm curds and mix well until smooth and creamy.
  6. Shape or press the cheese as desired and let it cool before serving.
